Description of the online selection exercises:
Exercise 1. Burpees
Task: maximum number of repetitions in 1 minute.
How to do it correctly:
Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.
Squat down and place your palms on the floor.
Jump your feet back into a push-up position — keep your body level, your back straight, and your toes pressed into the floor.
Jump back into a ‘squat push-up’ position — knees between your elbows, bottom lowered.
Jump up, raising your arms and clapping your hands above your head.
Repeat without stopping.
Exercise 2. Hanging from the horizontal bar with bent knees
Instructions: Hang from the horizontal bar with your knees bent for as long as possible (maximum — 1 minute).
How to do it correctly:
Climb onto the horizontal bar with the help of an adult or a step.
Grasp the bar with an overhand grip (palms facing forwards).
Bend your knees and hold this position.
Do not touch the floor!
Try to hold on for as long as possible.
Exercise 3. Parallel bars
Objective: complete 8 parallel bars.
How to do it correctly:
Hang from the first bar using an overhand grip.
Start the movement: reach for the next bar with one hand, then the other — continuing in the same pattern.
You can complete all 8 in one go or in sections — 2 or 4 at a time.
You must not touch the floor!
Exercise 4. Jumping
Instructions: Perform as many jump-ups as possible in 1 minute.
How to do it correctly:
Stand upright, feet slightly wider than your hips, back straight.
Squat down, then push off powerfully with your feet and jump upwards.
Land softly and repeat.
How to record the exercises:
You can record yourself performing the exercises in any order, in one or more videos.
Video requirements:
A clock must be clearly visible in the video. For example, set a timer on your TV or tablet, or hold a stopwatch or timer in the frame close to the camera.
Whilst performing the exercise, the participant must be clearly and fully visible in the frame; outside assistance is not permitted from the moment the timer starts.
When performing the horizontal bar exercise, the floor must be clearly visible in the frame (touching the floor whilst performing the exercise is not permitted).
It is not permitted to alter the playback speed of the video or to add special effects, animations, etc.
Participants may choose the order in which they perform the exercises themselves.
The video must clearly and unambiguously show the start of the exercise and the end of the exercise time.
The ideal angle for filming is from the side (in profile), from a height of approximately 1 metre above the floor.
